Nancy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan. She has an extensive education and counseling background in helping individuals, couples, teens, and families move forward in ways that reflect their goals. Her passion as a counselor is to get at the root of the problem and focus on life-enhancing strategies. Nancy utilizes cognitive behavioral and client-centered based treatment approaches. She works with all clients with a team-based approach. Nancy assists individuals in learning effective coping tools and stress management techniques, communication strategies and to develop support systems. She seeks to help clients gain a greater sense of who they are and how they can achieve the highest level of peace and happiness in their lives. She is a very genuine and caring person who provides a safe space for clients to learn, grow and heal inner wounds within.
Her degrees include an Eds. Specialty in Education and a Master's in Counseling from Wayne State University; Masters in Reading from Oakland University and a Teaching Certificate from Northern Michigan University. She was Awarded Who's Who for American Teachers four times.
